I would be interested to hear if you have any suggestions regarding chosing a play to direct for group. Are there particular publishers who will let you borrow reading copies of scripts free of charge or for a small fee. Thanks for your help

Oh Dear I don't know now whether my letter went or not.
I wanted your opinion on the practice of paying the musical director, director, or producer for their services in am. dram.
I have not met this practice before but it seems to be spreading in England. Where does it stop and how does it affect the club status.
